An absolute legend in the field, Lien has taken the role of Kin and Yleme's field instructor during the latter half of their training. A war hero and close friend to Supreme Commander Semaj Lisson, Lien's reputation precedes him.

     Lien started out as the current Omega Supreme Commander Lisson's field student and was quickly thrust into The Second Brotherhood War. He learned fast and though he still carries scars from his fights, he refuses to let them influence his life. He still maintains his friendship with Semaj but refuses to overstep his bounds when on duty. Since Semaj took in Kin, Lien has become something of an uncle to him, and the two love to hang out and talk about anime among other things.

     Lien is professional to a fault, caring and strict. He calls things as he sees them and loves to help his students learn and grow. Watching Kin grow into the young man he's become has been one of the greatest joys of his life, but deep down, Lien is gripped by fear for the fate of his wife and son.
