Cyber Grafts

Cyber grafts are robotic prosthetics that arose after the Brotherhood Wars. Using a cyber graft arm as an example, the skeleton of the graft either clamps on the remaining bone of an appendage or plugged into the socket or joint and is hooked up to the patients nervous system through several sockets in the middle of the new arm.

Next come the servos and pistons that act as the muscles. Any extra compartments or weapons are installed in this layer as well. extra pistons are then added to connect the inner workings to the inner armor, which interlocks with the outer layer of armor. The shifting armor plates allows for maximum flexibility of the appendage.

Cyber grafts are most often used to replace lost limbs, but cyber graft eyes, ears and in some cases internal organs also exist. Except for rare occasions, cyber grafts are exclusively prescribed to replace lost body parts.

They are durable, waterproof and easy to detach and reattach, but they require maintenance every couple of years and in the case of children and teenagers, have to be regularly replaced to keep up with their growth.
